There is no UK date and no other European date. Madrid is twelve nights, and 11 October is the last show of the tour. Here is what the whole trip costs.

Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran started in Rio in February 2025 and finishes in Madrid on 11 October 2026. Twelve nights in a stadium built for the run and taken down afterwards, and that is the entire European leg.

The flights

One night in Madrid

This is the Manchester shape: land mid-morning on the day of the show, fly home the next morning. It sounds punishing and it isn't, because everything you need is inside a ten minute walk.

Morning. Airport Express bus to Atocha, or Metro Line 8 with a change. Drop your bag at the hostel, reception is 24 hours and they hold luggage, then walk five minutes to Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol.

The 11 October show falls on a Sunday, which means El Rastro. Madrid's flea market takes over the streets south of La Latina every Sunday morning and the hostel sits on the edge of it. Go early, it thins out by mid afternoon.

Afternoon. Reina Sofía is a ten minute walk and holds Guernica. If you would rather not queue, eat instead. Mercado de San Fernando in Lavapiés is round the corner and cheaper than the tourist markets.

Evening. Eat before you leave for the venue. Doors are 19:30 and Estadio Shakira is a long way from anywhere you want to eat. Leave the centre by around six.

After. Bed by one, airport by eight. You will have seen the last night of the tour and be home for lunch.

Two nights in Madrid

The extra night buys you a full day either side, and it costs £24. Take it if you can.

Birmingham gets the cleanest version: arrive the evening before, full day, show, out mid morning. Luton and Bristol get the reverse, with the free day after the show, which is arguably better because you can sleep in.

For the free day:

• The Prado is free for the last two hours of every day. Go then, pick three rooms, do not try to do all of it.

• Retiro is fifteen minutes from the hostel and the best place in Madrid to do nothing.

• Templo de Debod at sunset, an actual Egyptian temple on a hill on the far side of the centre.

• Lavapiés and La Latina for eating. This is your neighbourhood already, so use it.

One heads up if you are staying past the closing show: 12 October is Spain's national day. Central Madrid gets a parade and a lot of closures. Worth knowing before you plan anything for that morning.

Where to stay

2060 The Newton Hostel, 11 Calle de la Cabeza, £24 a night for a dorm bed.

Two reasons this one and not a cheaper one.

The first is the location, and specifically what the location does for the show. The hostel is six minutes from Puerta del Sol. Metro Line 3 runs from Sol directly to Villaverde Alto, the stop for the venue. When Iberdrola Music hosts something at this scale, Metro usually runs a late service back from Villaverde Alto to Sol after the crowd comes out. So the trip home from a 50,000 capacity stadium is one train and a six minute walk. That is worth more than saving three pounds a night somewhere further out.

The second is that it is genuinely good. It scores 9 out of 10 across the major booking sites. Beds are capsule style with privacy curtains and air conditioning, which matters in a twelve bed room. There is a rooftop terrace with a bar and views across to Plaza Mayor, a communal kitchen, self service laundry, a sauna, and free coffee and churros in the morning. Reception runs 24 hours and holds bags, which is the detail that makes the one night trip work.

The honest bits: the showers are push button and timed, which is a nuisance if you have long hair. It is a big, social hostel with pub crawls and walking tours, so it is not the place for silence. And if you want a private bathroom, the four bed dorms have one and the twelve bed rooms do not.

Getting to the venue

Estadio Shakira is a temporary build inside Iberdrola Music, in the Villaverde district in the south of the city. Same site as Mad Cool. Capacity is over 50,000 a night, and the architects are Bjarke Ingels Group, the firm behind Adele's Munich residency in 2024.

Doors 19:30, show 20:30.

Metro Line 3 to Villaverde Alto is the main route in, then fifteen to twenty minutes on foot. Line 12 to Los Espartales and Cercanías C-4 and C-5 to Villaverde Alto also work, and C-3 stops at San Cristóbal Industrial which is a shorter walk. Large events here normally get a special late Metro service and shuttle buses from Atocha. Check the mobility plan published for your specific date before you commit to a plan.

Do not drive. For anything over 40,000 people at this venue, public transport is faster in and considerably faster out.

Alongside the concerts runs Es Latina, a programme of exhibitions, talks, film, food and literature spread across the residency.

Before you book

Check the tier. Face value for these shows spans a wide range, from roughly €73.50 for the cheapest tiered seating up to €181.50 for front stage, with general standing sitting around €119. The figures above are one tier on one date. What you actually pay depends on where you want to stand.

Check availability first. More than half a million tickets went in a matter of hours when the residency went on sale. Some dates will have more left than others. Sort the ticket before you sort the flight, not the other way round.

Watch the mixed bookings. The Manchester and Bristol trips use different airlines in each direction, which means two separate bookings and no protection if the first leg runs late. If that matters to you, pay the difference for a single carrier.

Hostel rates will move. £24 a night is a dorm bed booked now. Madrid is hosting 50,000 people a night for twelve nights across September and October. Accommodation will not get cheaper.
